We started Plugroo to make one part of EV life easier: finding a charger. Since then, our community has grown — and so have the questions. Which cable do I actually need? Why is decent gear so expensive? Where can I buy something I can trust?
Today, we're excited to answer all of that. The Plugroo Store is officially live.
Why we built it
Owning an EV in Australia should be simple and affordable — but shopping for accessories often isn't. Prices vary wildly, quality is hard to judge, and it's not always clear what suits your car. We wanted to fix that for our community.
Our goal with the Plugroo Store is straightforward: get our users better-quality EV accessories at better prices. We cut out the guesswork and the markups, source gear that's genuinely built to last, and pass the savings on to you. No premium price for premium quality — just the right gear, fairly priced.
Starting with what matters most: Type 2 charging cables
Our first products are the ones almost every EV driver needs — Type 2 charging cables, available in both 7kW single-phase and 22kW three-phase options, in 5m and 7m lengths.
