Half the public AC chargers around Sydney don't come with a cable, which I learned the hard way. Grabbed a 7kW Type 2 from Plugroo and now I never get caught out. I just find an untethered charger on the Plugroo app, plug in my own cable, and I'm sorted. Should've bought one ages ago.
